AIRSKINZ is pleased to announce that we have exclusively purchased a fuselage section from Ex British Airways 747-100 G-AWNA.
G-AWNA is a historical aircraft for British aviation, in April 1970 the aircraft was the first ever B747-100 to be delivered to BOAC meaning it was also the first B747 to fly on a 'G' registration. In April 1974 it became part of the British Airways fleet and flew with the airline until its retirement in 1999.
We will will be harvesting a limited number of windows from the aircraft containing both the grey, Blue and red cheatline colours in each window, they will have their edges smoothed and then given a good polish to bring back the shine of the original Landor livery paint and made ready to hang on your wall. All windows will be certificated. We cut our windows much larger than most of the other companies that sell aircraft windows, this give a much more realistic look when hanging on the wall ( see the example of how the cuts will look as marked by the red lines)
The windows are priced at £599 (£400 preorder discount is removed at checkout) per window during our resale period and can be cut as singles, doubles and triple cuts.
We are expecting to start delivery mid September, this is subject to the cutting schedule. Should for some reason out of our control mean we can't complete your order you will be entitled to a full refund of your deposit.
Shipping will be calculated on an individual basis depending on location.
Please feel free to contact us for anymore information at sales@airskinz.com or text or WhatsApp us on +44 7884 418448
Note: The fuselage section has been exposed to the outside environment for many years. Each window will have its own unique blemishes and imperfections which are all part of this truly historical aircraft.
